This course focuses on defensive firearm training from the inside out. Most people spend their time punching holes in paper. Bragging on their custom gun and custom gear...

You are only as good as your training with your weapon. Yes punching holes in paper IS a PART of that training, and it is the easy part!!!!

Learn how to use your weapon in a bad situation, and stop just punching holes in paper targets. . .

Lets get real! 

Taught by Todd Fossey (IDS | Funker Tactical | PDN), this unique training intensive is designed to explore the true nature of lethal encounters while realistically preparing attendees for optimal outcomes for armed defenders.

Through the use of modern training aids such as SIRT Training Pistols training can safely take place in a controlled,

3-dimensional learning environment that closely simulates real world lethal encounters.

Practical kinetic skill building and reality based tactical training will be experienced in high volume and repetition to reinforce a higher level of unconscious proficiency during critical incidents. However, a significant amount of training time will be spent on understanding the use of force in what we at IDS call “the gooey gray area”. The “gooey gray area” is that place where the moral, legal, defensive skills, personal attributes, psychological, tactical and circumstantial converge. That place where there is no definitive answer, the magic moment that matters most when faced with the unthinkable.

In short, the goal of this unique training is to give armed citizens the practical skills and framework for decisive, confident decision making during violent, rapidly evolving, lethal encounters.

• 3D Pistol Craft (Skills and Drills with SIRT)

• Weapons Based Combatives

• Force on Force Scenario Training

What to bring:

• A good attitude and willingness to learn

• Necessary Meals

• Snacks, Drinks and Hydration

• Comfortable Clothes (that have belt loops and belt for holster carry)

• If you have a holster that will fit a Glock 17 or magazine holster that will fit Glock 9 mm magazine bring it with you

• Groin protection and mouth guard

• Long pants

• Long sleeves double layered

• Thin gloves capable of manipulating a weapon for Force on Force Scenario Training (Day 2)
